Nash
Trans Guild of Merced founder.
Hi, my name is Nash, my pronouns are he/him and I am a transgender man.
After living in Merced for the past 2 years, I've come to realize how bad the trans/gender non-conforming has it here.
I started our origination so that my community has a designated space where we feel safe and heard that focuses on us!
While our focus is primarly the trans and gender non-conforming community we are welcome to all paths of life.

About Us
We Are The
Trans Guild Of Merced
March 2023, the transgender community in Merced, CA-formed the Merced Trans Mafia. We put on one of Merced's first transgender rights protest 3-31-23.
Our non-profit origination now goes by Trans Guild Of Merced.
Our organization is focused on spreading love, compassion, understanding and visibility for the trans and gender non-conforming community.
Merced's LGBTQIA+ community is lacking in inclusion for the trans/gender non-conforming community.
Our organization is very new and is solely funded by donations currently- so we don't have huge capabilities yet but we will continue to grow.
Keep an eye out to see all our our community events such as:
-Zine Pop Ups
-Queer Rock Initiative
-Gender Affirming Closet
And More To Come!!!
EVENTS!
Queer Rock Initiative
Come paint rocks and help cover the Merced community with visibility and love!
We are meeting at Applegate Park, near the amplifier- every 2nd and 4th Sunday, at 1:30 pm.
We will be providing rocks and paint but please feel free to bring more supplies or snacks if you are able! Hope to see you there!

What's The "T" -Zine Pop Up
Help create zines for the Merced community!
Zines have always been a great way to get out relevant news and information!
Join us with our team member Carlos to help make and create Merced's very first Queer/Trans collaborative zine!

In early February 2023, I decided to interview people in the trans/gender non conforming community. At the time, there was only a few hundred anti-trans bills trying to be passed in the United States, now there are over 430. My community is often used as a talking point but no one wants to actually sit down and talk with us. The "We Exist, We Are Human" project's goal was to shine a light and share our experiences in the trans community. I wanted to use this as an opportunity to share and grow as humans, so that we might try to understand each other better.
PROTESTS & MARCHES
March 31st, 2023
The queer and trans community has been upended by a series of devastating laws, discriminatory legislation, and transphobic attacks, designed to make the lives of queer & trans youth as unbearable as possible.
March 31st the whole country had walkouts and protest marches in support of trans youth.
Over 40 people showed up to march here in the Merced community.
